i need to stop introducing myself as ~migrev-dolseg. my name is will... i've learned the hard way that explaining @ps as names is too cringe for almost everyone. as soon as we start calling humans by non-human names, they will frown and lose interest. honestly, fair enough. i've had much more success explaining @ps as "phone numbers that are super easy to memorize". you wouldn't call somebody by their phone number, but having their phone number memorized might be very useful. especially if that phone number is connected to a general purpose personal server designed to last 100 years.
